Dream by starting their own clothing company. They started on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard off the coast of Massachusetts where they started making ties and selling them out of their backpacks in restaurants, beaches, bars, and on boats. Since then Vineyard Vines has simply exploded in popularity and scope. Now the company sells clothes for women, men, and children. They not only sell ties but also shirts, shorts, pants, and even underwear!

I discovered Vineyard Vines Ties when I was on the island of Nantucket in May of 1999. In my excitement to get out to the “Old Grey Lady” I packed very very quickly and forgot to pack my running shoes. After discovering this at the Bed and Breakfast we decided to go to and a place I recommend highly called Murray’s Toggery Shop to get some more running shoes that I could wear during the week since my wife and I both knew that we would be doing lots of walking. It was there that I found my first of many Vineyard Vines Ties. It was a Pink Nantucket Signs tie that I thought was about the coolest thing I had ever saw. Since then I have been hooked ever since and only purchase ties from Vineyard Vines.
Imagine my surprise and joy when I discovered that Vineyard Vines had decided to start producing and selling not only Collegiate Ties but also ties for NFL and MLB sports teams. Now, I could wear ties for my Alma Mater as well as my favorite sports teams!
Just found out about Vineyard Vines and have been looking around the internet for various articles of clothing that is manufactured by them. Was able to come to this site and have received quite a bit of information about what I needed to know about some of their ties.
